Trunk or Treat

We will be participating in the Trunk or Treat at the Apache First United Methodist Church on Oct 31st.  trunk-or-treat 

Students, 4th grade through 12th

Students, 4th grade through 12th , write a letter to an author (living or dead), explaining how the author’s work impacted the student’s life.  LAL awards prizes on both the nation and state levels.  State winners will receive cash prizes from the Oklahoma Center for the Book.  In addition, libraries of first place state winners will receive a $1000 grant from the Oklahoma center for the Book.  State first place winners also will advance to the nation competition.  For more information regarding the Letters About Literature competition, please log on to http://www.read.gov/letters
